An Invitation to Support the Boys
The British Columbia Boys Choir is a
registered non-profit organization that issues tax-receipts for
donations made to the Choir. Your donation to the British Columbia
Boys Choir is needed to assist in a variety of projects including
our Music Education and Bursary Programs.
We hope that you will consider the
Choir in your annual donation list. You can also make a donation to
the Boys Choir through the United Way in Canada. The Choir is not an
agency of the United Way, however you may designate that you wish
part of your United Way contribution to go to the Choir. You will
need to provide the Choir’s Registered Charitable BIN#:
133712851RR0001.
 BCBC Bursary Fund
No boy that wants to join the British Columbia Boys Choir is turned away
based on financial need. A BCBC Bursary Fund has been established to assist
boys with up to 50% of their annual tuition fees. The Choir depends upon
donations from individuals and service clubs to support these bursaries.
They range from $100 - $300 and are distributed annually. $2000 a year
is needed to sustain this fund.
BCBC Education Program
Each year the Choir presents between Education Concerts for Elementary School
students. Since the choir began performing for students over 11,000 students
have had an opportunity to hear and see a show. The Choir requires funds to
produce these Education shows each year. Currently, plans are underway to present a an
Education Concert at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of
British Columbia on Tuesday December 18, 2007.
 BCBC Uniform Fund
The British Columbia Boys Choir has purchased tuxedo jackets as a secondary
uniform for the Touring Choir. These uniforms cost $4000 and still need to be
paid for during the 2007 season. One jacket costs $200. A donation to the
Uniform Fund in any amount is greatly appreciated.

CDs available for sale include Home, Gloria, Places, Symmetry, Spirit and Legacy.
These make great corporate gifts for clients.
